Common dermal filler questions and answers

Q. How are treatments administered?
A. All treatments are administered with numbing cream and all dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid (HA) based with lidocaine in to make the whole experience as pain free as possible.

Q. How long does treatment take?
A. Treatments can take anywhere up to 30 minutes and require a full consultation with nurse practitioner to help advise on correct procedures for clients, and all clients will receive after care information and a free 2 week follow up appointment.

Q. What are the side effects of treatment?
A. Common side effects of treatment is localised swelling, mild pain and redness and possibly some bruising for a few days after treatment.

Q. How long will my lip fillers last?
A. Most lip fillers last between 3-9 months as a guide. We advise first time patients may need to return in 2-3 months to build volume and structure. From then on most patients return once every 4-6 months.

Q. What is the cost?
A. Fillers start from a price of £150 depending on amount and product choice.

Q. Who can have fillers?
A. Filler treatments are open to the majority of people male or female over the age of 18 years. A thorough consultation will be undertaken prior to treatment as there are a few exceptions to the rule, which is why here at CEH Aesthetics, consultations are free of charge and there to ensure clients have the information to make informed choices on treatment options with an holistic approach to patient/client centred care; after all, we are all different and here at CEH Aesthetics we recognise this above everything else, and are here to help out clients reach optimum, realistic results on their aesthetic journey.
